This Japanese manufactured intermediate variation pistol grip wood stock is for the fairly late Type 99 Arisaka bolt action rifle in 7.7 caliber and is in very good condition containing numerous light dings, dents, scratches and possibly a short crack. There are no major cracks or chips present. The stock is designed for the wood butt plate, late variation rear sling swivel and the larger diameter recoil lug (all of which are sold separately) and the foreward most wood section does not have provision for the cleaning rod or cleaning rod retainer housing.    (file photos)
